Apart from a new tank badges and painting, from 1963 Harley-Davidson FL Duo-Glide which does not offer much change.
However, Harley has tried something different models for 1961, when the old "waste spark" ignition was exchanged for a more modern - but more complicated - system employs two sets of points and spirals. The experience lasted only through 1964, after which the waste-spark installation return.
